Prague is known for its historical value as well as cultural diversity. All these places you can find in our event map. To all places you can navigate easily using google maps or recommended app for public transport ‘Litacka’.
Historical sights
Prague Castle
The Prague Castle is Prague’s most iconic landmark. It used to serve as the seat of kings and now acts as a presidential residence. The Castle is a large complex with many landmarks of its own, such as the Golden Lane, Vladislav Hall or, most notably, the St. Vitus Cathedral. The Prague Castle provides a nice view of the city.
Wenceslas Square
The Wenceslas Square is one of the biggest and most frequented squares in the city. Its heart is crowned by the statue of Saint Wenceslas and above it stands the National Museum.
Old Town Square
The Old Town Square is home to other landmarks such as the Church of Our Lady before Týn, the Jan Hus Memorial and the Old Town Hall with the famous Prague astronomical clock (Orloj). Every hour, a show of moving sculptures can be seen above Orloj.
Vyšehrad
This historic fort houses the Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul and the Vyšehrad Cemetery, the resting place of many famous Czechs. The fort provides a beautiful walk with a view of the city.
